Alexis Goswitz, DO

Dr. Alexis Goswitz was first drawn to psychology because of her love for connecting with people and helping them feel heard and supported. Over time, she realized she wanted to make an even broader impact by caring not only for the mind but also for the body.

Family medicine appealed to Dr. Goswitz because it allows her to be, in her words, the “quarterback” of a patient’s healthcare team. She values seeing the bigger picture, providing continuity of care, and managing as much as possible herself while collaborating with specialists when needed. This approach allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients, guiding them through every stage of life with honesty, advocacy, and trust. Her philosophy of care is rooted in listening carefully, empowering patients with knowledge, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.

Dr. Goswitz earned her medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and completed her family medicine residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Goswitz treasures time with her husband, their two energetic young boys, and their two dogs who add plenty of fun to daily life. She enjoys playing volleyball and taking her dogs to the dog park.
