Insurance accepted byAndrew S. Wang, DO
When Dr. Wang was in the third grade, his mother started medical school, and this is where his interest in medicine began. Fused with his strengths of math and science, his mom inspired him to follow her footsteps and become a physician for the community.
The most important thing in Dr. Wang’s life is his wife and daughter. They are the reason why he does everything and have helped him become a better doctor. He shares, “The patients I see each day may not be my family, but they are somebody’s family and it is always good to remember that when taking care of them.”
In his practice he wants patients to know they have an advocate who is going to treat them like family and take their concerns seriously. When describing Dr. Wang, most patients recognize that he is a good listener and a thorough practitioner. He considers what patients say, listens to their needs and assists in choosing the best course of action to find a way to help them achieve their health goals.
Dr. Wang received his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and completed his family medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.
During his time outside of the office, Dr. Wang enjoys being active and plays tennis, basketball and enjoys running. Additionally, during family time he likes going to the movies and the theater as well as frequently visiting Disneyland.
