Lauren E. Fanning, MD

Driven by a lifelong passion for science, Dr. Fanning found medicine to be the ideal blend of understanding complex human physiology and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She chose to specialize in urology because it allows her to care for both men and women through every stage of life, offering a wide range of treatments that include counseling, medications, procedures, and surgery.

Dr. Fanning earned Menopause Society certification to meet the growing need for clinicians trained in perimenopause and early menopause care, with particular expertise in managing genitourinary symptoms. Her philosophy of care centers on treating every patient with the same respect and compassion she would want for her own family.

Dr. Fanning earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her urology residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Fanning enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family.
