About Meigan Everts, MD, FAAP
A Southern California native, Dr. Everts knew from a young age that she wanted to be a doctor. Motivated by her strong interest in medicine coupled with her desire to learn, Dr. Everts pursued a rigorous seven year BioMed program at the University of California, Riverside and University of California, Los Angeles, preparing her to deliver exceptional care. She completed her pediatric residency at University of California, Irvine and fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). During her career, she has held key roles which include Chief of Staff at CHOC and Chair of the Pediatric Department at St Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Everts believes quality pediatric care occurs from birth through adolescence. According to her, “I like to take care of the whole person, understanding the physical, mental and social aspects of my patients. This helps me get a complete picture of how best to care for them. Most of all, I value building relationships and encouraging healthy two-way communication with my patients.”
Having practiced medicine for over 30 years, Dr. Everts provides comprehensive pediatric care and places an emphasis on long-term development. She enjoys seeing her patients year after year and following them through their journey.
Dr. Everts is married and has two very accomplished daughters. She enjoys card making, exercising, skiing, fly fishing, and hiking.
