Mona Sedghian, MD

The desire to blend science with compassion led Dr. Sedghian to pursue a career in medicine. For her, medicine is about more than diagnosis and treatment. It is about being present for people, easing their worries, and supporting them through both challenges and healing. 

Dr. Sedghian chose internal medicine because of its depth, breadth, and endless opportunities for lifelong learning. This field allows her to provide care that is both comprehensive and personal, meeting patients where they are and supporting them in many aspects of their lives.  

Her patient care philosophy centers on treating each individual as a whole while fostering collaboration and trust. She takes time to listen carefully, understand unique needs, and partner with patients to create plans that support both health and overall well-being. Above all, Dr. Sedghian’s goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported, understood, and cared for as she guides them on their path to better health. 

Dr. Sedghian earned her medical degree from Isfahan University of Medical Science and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sedghian values time with her family and enjoys the beauty of California beaches. She and her husband share a love of cooking and exploring new recipes together. She also stays active with regular workouts and tennis, which help her maintain balance and energy.
