About Sarah E. Ogden, MD
Drawn to both the humanities and sciences, Dr. Ogden was inspired to pursue medicine as a way to combine these passions while serving the community. Early experiences working as an ophthalmic technician and as a clinical data curator for a genetics company deepened this interest and affirmed the decision to become a physician.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Ogden values variety in practice and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Believing that primary care forms the backbone of healthcare, Dr. Ogden takes pride in being a trusted partner and advocate for patients. She approaches patient care with a holistic, patient-centered, evidence-based, and cost-effective philosophy that emphasizes early intervention.
Dr. Ogden earned her medical degree from California University of Science and Medicine and completed her family medicine residency as chief resident at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California.
Outside of work, Dr. Ogden enjoys walking in nature, exploring new cafes and restaurants, watching TV dramas, playing with her dachshund, and spending time with friends and family.
