About Savitha Bharadwaj, MD, MHA

As a young girl in India, Dr. Bharadwaj fondly recalls hearing stories of her great grandmother who was a midwife in her community and the impact she made on the people around her. These stories served as her inspiration as she set off to pursue a career in medicine with the goal of making a difference in people’s lives.

In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Bharadwaj has experienced great success as an internist while serving diverse populations. She is well versed in treating adults of all ages and handling a variety of medical conditions. She places an emphasis on disease prevention and management while also serving as an educator for her patients.

Dr. Bharadwaj takes pride in the focus she places on her patients. Her number one goal is to make sure her patients are being heard and she is able to address their questions and concerns. She excels at developing relationships with her patients and providing personalized health plans. As Dr. Bharadwaj states, “I enjoy my interaction with each of my patients. I not only address the issues at hand, but I also seek ways to improve each patient’s health and provide a great experience.”

She attended medical school in India and completed her residency at Yeshiva University in New York. She is double board certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine. Additionally, she speaks Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

A wife and mother of two grown children., Dr. Bharadwaj enjoys cooking, working out and learning new languages in her spare time.
