Wail Shoga, DO

Dr. Shoga was drawn to medicine because it brings together lifelong learning, thoughtful problem solving, and meaningful human connection. The opportunity to guide patients toward better health felt both intellectually challenging and deeply purposeful. With nearly three decades in practice, that sense of purpose continues to fuel his work each day. 

As an internist, Dr. Shoga values caring for the whole person. He appreciates the diagnostic depth of internal medicine and the long term relationships built through continuity of care. His philosophy is simple: listen carefully, communicate clearly, and partner with patients to prevent disease, manage complex conditions, and optimize long term health. He believes patients deserve a physician who is accessible, collaborative, and grounded in both science and trust. With a strong sense of commitment, he strives to combine clinical excellence with genuine empathy in every patient interaction  

Dr. Shoga earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Science and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shoga enjoys spending time with his family, staying physically active, traveling, and restoring classic automobiles.
